Yes. With an open application, you tell us what kind of work you’re looking for and what you can do. When a suitable position comes up, we’ll get in touch. Many people find work exactly this way.

Can I apply for several jobs at the same time?

Yes. You can apply for as many roles as interest you. We recommend applying for every role where your skills and interests match.

What kind of jobs does Career recruit for?

We recruit for tourism and hospitality, construction, industry, mining, retail, property services and office roles, among others. We offer permanent and fixed-term jobs, seasonal work and shorter gigs.

How do I write a good job application?

A good job application clearly explains why you’re applying for the role and why you’re the right person for it. Highlight your skills, experience and motivation, and give concrete examples of what you’ve done before.


Keep your application short and tailor it to the job you’re applying for. A good rule of thumb is to answer the question: “Why should the employer invite me to an interview?” It’s also important to include contact details for your references.

What should I say in a job interview?

Be yourself. Besides your skills, we’re interested in your motivation, your attitude and the kind of work community where you thrive. Don’t be afraid to ask questions too.


In a job interview, talk openly about your skills, work experience and goals. Interviewers especially value concrete examples of your successes, how you work and situations where you’ve solved problems or learned something new.

How does temporary staffing work for employees?

Career is your employer, and you work at one of our client companies. We pay your salary according to the collective agreement and take care of your occupational healthcare. We stay in touch throughout your employment, and many temporary jobs later lead to direct employment with the client company.
